AIIMS Deoghar Formally Empanelled with RC ECHS Ranchi to Provide Cashless Care to Over 1.2 Lakh Veterans
DEOGHAR: In a major step towards strengthening healthcare services for the Armed Forces veteran community, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Deoghar was formally empanelled with the Regional Centre, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Ranchi during a ceremony held today, August 13, 2026.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Director of RC ECHS Ranchi and the Medical Superintendent of AIIMS Deoghar. The signing took place in the presence of Prof (Dr.) Nitin Gangane, Executive Director and CEO of AIIMS Deoghar, and Major General Jitendra Singh, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Jharkhand & Bihar Sub Area.

Localised Treatment: This partnership bridges a crucial geographic gap, ensuring that beneficiaries living in and around Jharkhand and Bihar do not have to travel to distant metro cities for world-class medical attention.

AIIMS Deoghar operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).
