PROF. ANIL GUPTA SPARKS RANCHI’S STARTUP REVOLUTION AT BIT MESRA

RANCHI: Renowned innovation thinker and Padma Shri recipient Professor Anil Kumar Gupta called for a collaborative ecosystem to drive sustainable development during a high-profile interactive session at the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra.

The event, jointly organized by the Department of Management and the Institute Innovation Council, focused heavily on grassroots innovation and rural entrepreneurship. Professor Gupta, a former IIM Ahmedabad faculty member globally acclaimed for founding the Honey Bee Network, emphasized the urgent need to scale local, village-level innovations onto national and global platforms.
During the session, prominent Rotarian Rathin Bhadra was formally honoured by Professor Gupta for his contributions.

Boosting Jharkhand’s Startups

In a major boost to the state’s entrepreneurial landscape, Professor Gupta assured extended support for regional startups through his foundation. He further committed to strengthening the local business pipeline via the Indian Startup Association, pledging continuous personal mentorship, guidance, and strategic suggestions for young changemakers.
