JMM expels party legislator Lobin Hembrome for acting against alliance principle

 

Ranchi: May 17: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha today expelled its party Borio legislator Lobin Hembrom for acting against the principle of alliance.

Order of expulsion of was released today.

“In the light of the information received from various mass media and social media platforms, in the current Lok Sabha General Election 2024, you have acted against the principle of alliance by filing nomination from 01, Raajmahal Lok Sabha Constituency, and also you are trying to mislead the party workers. In the light of the above facts, you are relieved from all posts in the party (if any) and expelled from the primary membership of the party for the next six years,” a letter signed by party president Shibu Soren reads.

Hembrom is the second legislator whom party has expelled. Earlier on May 7, JMM expelled its Bishnupur legislator Chamra Linda for the same reason.

According to the principle of alliance, Congress leader Sukhdeo Bhagat was fielded as INDIA Bloc candidate to contest parliamentary election from Lohardaga constituency, but Linda also filed nomination as an independent candidate to contest election from the same parliamentary constituency.

Prior to his party had expelled Basant Longa for filing nominations from Khunti parliamentary constituency from where congress leader Kalicharan Munda contested election as a INDIA Block candidate.
