All India Kayastha Mahasabha demands direct train for Indore Via Bhopal 

Ranchi: All India Kayastha Mahasabha state spokesperson Shailesh Kumar Sinha met union minister of state for defence Sanjay Seth and handed over a letter demanding a direct train for Indore via Bhopal.

“Due to the lack of direct rail service from Ranchi, the common passengers waste additional 8 to hours to reach Bhopal and Indore and senior citizens have to change platforms at two places instead of one to catch the train on the railway platform, which is a big problem for the elderly people and they are deprived of meeting their families. The family also considers it a hassle to take such elderly people along,” Sinha while handing over the letter said.

 

“If there will be a direct train then not only the problem of the elderly will be solved, but the passengers who wait at the station to catch a train from one station to another will also get less crowd in the waiting room, goodwill will also increase in the social sector, along with this, there will be an unexpected increase in the field of business establishments, tourism, employment, which will benefit both the states,” Sinha added.

 

Sinha said the demand is long awaited. “I have been demanding this for the last one month. Many passengers from Bhopal and Indore, various institutions including lakhs of members of Purvanchal Seva Samiti Indore have also expressed the need for the same demand,” he said.
