He has shared a post on Instagram and informed about this. He wrote that our old friend, colleague and courageous journalist Ravi Prakash is no more. He was fighting cancer. A man who inspired cancer patients to live with vigor: Speaker Rabindranath Mahto

Assembly speaker Rabindranath Mahato expressed grief over the death of senior journalist Ravi Prakash. He said that he was very saddened to hear about the death of the journalist who was suffering from cancer for a long time. “Along with giving new dimensions to journalism in Jharkhand, he always inspired cancer patients to live with vigor, for which he will always be remembered. I pray that in this hour of grief, God gives strength to his family and gives peace to the departed soul,” he said.

CAR-T cell therapy was going on in Mumbai for one and a half months

Ravi Prakash was honored with the Patient Advocate Educational Award at the World Lung Cancer Conference (WCLC-2024) held in America this month. Ravi Prakash was the only person from India to receive this award.

Ravi Prakash was suffering from lung cancer for about four and a half years and was in the last stage of cancer. His CAR-T cell therapy was going on in Mumbai for the last one and a half months. After returning from America, he was also given the fourth infusion of gamma-delta cells.
