International Women’s Day Celebrated at Hastipada, Programme Organized by Shreesundram Foundation

Barharwa: The Shreesundram Foundation organized a programme near the Hastipada Panchayat Bhavan on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Local women participated enthusiastically in the event and reaffirmed their commitment to women’s empowerment.

The programme was successfully organized under the supervision of the foundation’s main office bearers, including Rekha Kumari (Joint Founder President), Pankaj Kumar Mahto (Secretary), Phulo Devi (Treasurer)

The programme began with a warm welcome and felicitation of the women present, conducted by Secretary Pankaj Kumar Mahto, who was also presiding over the event. He extended greetings and best wishes to all the women on the occasion. Several important activities were organized during the programme.

Members of the foundation introduced themselves to the villagers and the women present at the event. This session helped in strengthening interaction and communication among the participants.

The office bearers shared detailed information about the vision and future plans of the Shreesundram Foundation. They explained how the organization is actively working towards the social and economic development of society.

Highlighting the importance of International Women’s Day, President Rekha Kumari made the women aware of their rights. She emphasized the importance of women’s participation and self-reliance in society.

She said, “Respect for women and their progress is the true identity of a strong society. Shreesundram Foundation stands with women at every step.”

On this occasion, all participants also took a pledge. “We will always respect women in our society. We will provide equal opportunities for education and progress to our daughters.
We will always stand for the rights, safety, and dignity of women. We will create an environment of equality, respect, and empowerment in our families and society,” they pledged.

On this occasion, Secretary Pankaj Kumar Mahto said, “International Women’s Day is not just a celebration but a symbol of our commitment to the respect, rights, and empowerment of women. Even today, many women in rural areas face challenges such as lack of education, healthcare, and opportunities.

Shreesundram Foundation is making efforts to create awareness and help women become self-reliant and empowered. When women move forward, the society and the nation progress together. We must all work collectively to promote girls’ education, women’s dignity, and equal opportunities.”

Enthusiasm Among Villagers

Villagers present at the Panchayat Bhavan appreciated this initiative from the foundation. At the end of the program, the women present were also honored, which created a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the area.

On this occasion, Magfura Khatun, Rupa Kumari, Ajmera Bibi, Sarita Hansda, and Santara Khatun, along with dozens of other women, were present.
