Students and teachers at Indumati Tibrewal School remembers Baba Saheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary
Ranchi: On Monday, the Indumati Tibrewal Saraswati Vidya Mandir commemorated the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in the school’s massive auditorium.
The school’s principal, Ramesh Kumar Singh, and senior Hindi teacher, Chandramohan Mishra, began the programme by placing flowers and lighting candles on the statues of Maa Saraswati, Omkar, Bharat Mata, and constitution maker Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
Senior teacher Chandmohan Mishra explained Baba Saheb’s life in length, as well as the Constitution’s preamble.
“Dr. Ambedkar is well-known around the world for his human rights activism, creation of the Constitution, and vast knowledge,” he said.
A senior teacher of the school, Ramavatar Mishra, let students know about Ambedkar’s role in writing the constitution.
“Ambedkar was the father of the Indian Constitution. He served as India’s first Minister of Law and Justice after independence. He was the first Law and Justice Minister of independent India. We all need to follow the ideals of Baba Saheb. He was born at a time when untouchability was prevalent in our country. He spent his entire life fighting against the caste system prevalent in Indian society,” he said.
A class 8 student, Araadhya Kumari, who drew Dr. Ambedkar on paper, was honoured. Principal Ramesh Kumar Singh said that the ideal character of the maker of the constitution, Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar, is exemplary for all of us. On this occasion, school in-charge Ayodhya Prasad Singh, Ajay Rajak, and the Acharya brothers and sisters were present.
