Ranchi Road Station cries for attention

Ranchi: At the time when all steps are being taken to modernise railway stations across the country, existing railway stations are crying for proper attention.

RTI Activisit Sarvesh Singh informed this sharing her personal experience.

“I was at Ranchi Road Station today with my better half to board on Shakti Punj Express for his Howrah journey. When I entered in waiting room there I found it without light. I found ladies washroom closed. When tried to know the reason behind this, assistat station master Raj Kumar expressed his helplessness saying waiting room arrangment is under Barkakana station master,” Singh said expressing his concern over the situation.

Ranchi Road railway station is a compact railway station in Ramgarh district, Jharkhand. Its code is RRME. It serves Ramgarh township area as well as other areas of the Ramgarh district. The station consists of two platforms.
