Rtn. Rathin Bhadra Appointed as Rotary District 3250 WASH Chairman

RANCHI: In a significant development for social service and community development initiatives across Bihar and Jharkhand, Rtn. Rathin Bhadra has been appointed as the Chairman for Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) for the Rotary year 2026-27 under Rotary International District 3250. The official appointment was made by the incoming District Governor for 2026-27, Rtn. Anu Narang, who welcomed Bhadra to the District 3250 leadership team as a key resource person for one of Rotary’s most critical global focus areas.

Rotary District 3250, which spans the states of Bihar and Jharkhand, actively drives high-impact social initiatives centered on healthcare, education, sanitation, clean drinking water, community welfare, youth empowerment, and sustainable development. Expressing his deep gratitude upon receiving this major responsibility, Rtn. Rathin Bhadra stated that the core values of water, sanitation, and hygiene have always been among his most passionate and favored subjects, and he pledged to sincerely do complete justice to the trust placed in him.

He further emphasized that under the guidance, support, and leadership of District Governor Anu Narang and the entire district team, impactful initiatives will be aggressively undertaken across both states to strengthen public awareness and accelerate the execution of clean water and hygiene programs. As the newly designated WASH Chairman, Bhadra will work closely to support local Rotary clubs, boost community participation, foster collaborative social partnerships, and help implement wide-ranging district activities aligned with Rotary’s global humanitarian goals.

Rotary International remains globally respected for its service initiatives and community-driven programs that create a lasting positive impact on society through dedicated volunteer leadership and active public participation.
