Adani Foundation Helps Five Youths from Gali Village Secure Jobs

Barkagaon (Hazaribag): Five young men from Gali village have secured employment as security guards, thanks to the efforts of Adani Foundation under the Gondulpara Coal Mining Project. Appointment letters were handed over to the selected candidates by Project Head Pundarik Mishra at the Foundation’s office in Barkagaon.

Earlier, Adani Foundation had organized a job fair in Barkagaon with the objective of creating new livelihood opportunities for local youth. As a result, these five candidates from the project-affected Gali village — Ranjeet Bhogta, Pramod Ganjhu, Mukesh Kumar, Pawan Ganjhu, and Chitranjan Ganjhu — were selected. They have been posted at the company’s Singrauli project in Madhya Pradesh.

The candidates had submitted their resumes during the job fair held on September 9, and were selected through a transparent recruitment process. They will soon join their respective job locations.

According to officials of the Adani Foundation, this achievement reflects the positive outcome of the Foundation’s employment generation initiatives. The Foundation remains committed to empowering local youth through skill development and livelihood opportunities, helping them move toward self-reliance.

The newly recruited candidates will receive a monthly salary along with benefits such as Employee Provident Fund (EPF), annual health check-up, subsidized meals, accommodation, and performance-based incentives.

Adani Foundation has been actively engaged in CSR initiatives across the Barkagaon region. Its ongoing programs include free ambulance services, nutrition kits for TB patients, eye and health check-up camps, and educational support with scholarships, benefitting a large number of local residents.

The appointment ceremony was attended by Security Head Amit Kole, HR lead Laxmikant, and CSR Deputy Managers Mohit Gupta and Santosh Tiwari, among others.
