Lohardaga Railway Station vendors wait for power connection

Ranchi: Despite being an important hub for the city of Lohardaga and the surrounding region in Jharkhand, providing a crucial link to major Indian cities and connecting to nearby towns and villages via road, Lohardaga Railway Station’s vendors have not been given power connection so far.

Due to lack of power connection passengers do not get tea and coffee at the station which serves as a key transit point for both local and long-distance travelers. Even state government has failed to do anything in the matter.

Though the station is being modernized under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which aims to improve its infrastructure and passenger amenities, including new platforms, better lighting, and digital facilities, lack of power facility put a question mark.
