NUSRL Ranchi and BIT Mesra Jointly Organise Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights

Ranchi, October 12: The DPIIT–IPR Chair of the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, jointly with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), BIT Mesra, organised a workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights – Foundational Concepts” at Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), University Polytechnic, Mesra, Ranchi.

Ms. Nishi Shabana, DPIIT–IPR Chair Professor at NUSRL Ranchi, served as the resource person. The workshop witnessed the participation of more than 100 students and 15 faculty members. The programme aimed to promote awareness of intellectual property rights and highlight their importance in protecting creativity, encouraging innovation, and supporting research and entrepreneurship. Through such collaborative initiatives, NUSRL Ranchi seeks to strengthen IPR awareness among students, researchers, and academicians and foster a culture of innovation and respect for intellectual property.
