Giridih: In a significant push for rural empowerment, young activist Rajesh Kumar from Birni, Giridih, has submitted a comprehensive roadmap for the Jharkhand Budget 2026-27. Aimed at curbing migration and unemployment, his proposals are currently being reviewed via the Abua Dishom Budget Portal, where the government is actively seeking public participation.
Key Highlights of Rajesh Kumar’s Proposals:
Mass Recruitment Drive: Immediate filling of vacancies for para-teachers, health assistants, and rural development workers to keep local talent within the state.
Khatiyan-Based Employment: Implementing a local employment policy based on land records (1932 Khatiyan) to ensure residents get first priority in jobs.
Land Security: Strict enforcement of the CNT Act to prevent illegal land transfers and protect tribal livelihoods.
Educational Reform: Establishing free coaching centers in every block for JPSC and JSSC aspirants.
Financial Inclusion: Providing guarantor-free bank loans for SC, ST, and OBC youth to spark a wave of local entrepreneurship and small businesses.
Kumar’s suggestions reflect the grassroots reality of the Birni block and align with Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s vision of a participatory budget.
