ESIC Provides Financial Support to Family of Deceased Worker Rameshwar Singh Binjhiya

RANCHI: Demonstrating its commitment to social security, the regional office of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in Ranchi has extended critical financial assistance to a grieving family. Ranchi resident late Rameshwar Singh Binjhiya, who was employed at Raj Ceramics, tragically passed away following a road accident while on duty.

In the wake of this unfortunate incident, Mr. Shivendra Kumar, Regional Director of ESIC Ranchi, handed over a compensation check of ₹1,62,326 to the dependent family members. The Regional Director comforted the family and informed them that, as per rules, they will also receive a lifelong monthly pension of approximately ₹15,000. Speaking on the occasion, the Regional Director emphasized that providing financial stability and social security to workers and their dependents in the event of an on-job mishap remains the corporation’s primary responsibility.

The family expressed their deep gratitude to the ESIC regional office for this timely support. The event was attended by Assistant Director Mr. Vinay Jaiswal, Branch Manager Mr. Amit Ranjan, Raj Ceramics HR representative Mr. Suman Kumar, and other staff members.
