Ranchi: It was a visual treat for both contemporary artists with their paint brush depicting their artistic skills on canvas in front of underprivileged students at Govt middle school at Karamtoli Bariatu today.
On one hand around 20 small kids too showed their artistic skills by drawing sheets with crayons based on the theme- Sarhul. Eid festival and also on landscape which brought upcoming child artists to meet renowned artists for the first time.
However those artists who stole limelight were Chief Guest Dinesh Singh , Guest of honour Ramanuj Shekhar and Vinod Ranjan. All of them together created floral designs on canvas surrounded by kids and members of Pankhuri. On the occasion Chief Guest Dinesh Singh said painting is a medium through which one can explain their art work.” Whatever you know depicts it on the canvas which releases tension. Do not escape from hard work, continue your education and artistic skills and try to improvise,”. One of the guests, Rinku Khemka, threw light on girl’s education who asked questions from small kids who showed their interests in becoming pilots, army officers , police officers and protecting their country. ” Girls’ education is important because both boys and girls are equal. Along with education, a career is also important who can carve their niche in the society,”. After competition was over students were given certificates and prizes.
All artists receive certificates from.Pankhuri while first, second and third prize was bagged by Nehanti Kumari, Anushka Kumari and Riya Kumari. While consolation prize was bagged by Chami Hembrom and Deepika Kumari.Present on the occasion were Chairperson Pankhuri Arti Sahuliyar, Treasurer Hazel Davis, Vice President Rajesh Raj Ravi, principal Sufia Khatoon and Sangeeta Kumari Singh
