Ranchi: Due to continuous heavy rain in Ranchi for the last 12 hours, flood-like situation has arisen in many areas. Due to rain, flood situation arose in the locality of Deepatoli Road No. 5 of Sadar police station area on Friday. According to the information, water has entered more than 50 houses.

In which more than 100 people are trapped. NDRF team was deployed to rescue the people trapped in the water. NDRF team is rescuing people trapped in houses and on the road.

Swarnrekha and Harmu rivers overflow 

While the water level in the dam has increased considerably due to the continuous rain in Ranchi and the surrounding districts, Harmu and Swarnarekha rivers are overflowing for the first time this monsoon. Near Nivaranpur and Hindpidhi, the water of Harmu river is flowing above the culvert.
