FJCCI delegation pays courtesy visit to IT Principal Commissioner Jayant Mishra

Ranchi: A delegation of Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) led by its Secretary Paresh Gattani paid a courtesy visit to Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Department (Bihar-Jharkhand), Jayant Mishra.
In the meeting, they discussed various issues related to industry and trade of Jharkhand. During the discussion, they came to know about the income tax system of Jharkhand and also expressed concern that why is the tax collection so low in a state like Jharkhand where there are such a large number of mines?
He also expressed concern that the income tax received by Jharkhand goes to other states due to the registered offices of businessmen being in other states and said that the state is suffering a lot due to this.
The Chamber suggested that a new building of Income Tax should be constructed in the Smart City.
Mishra expressed his gratitude to everyone and said that he would give all possible support to the Chamber on the problems related to trade and industry.
Former Chamber President CA Ranjit Garodia, Vice President Aditya Malhotra, Treasurer Jyoti Kumari, Executive Member Sanjay Akhouri, Direct Tax Sub-Committee Chairman JP Sharma, Industry Sub-Committee Chairman Vinod Agarwal were present in this meeting.
