Ranchi: The Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University (JSRU) on Thursday organised orientation ceremony with commencement of its new academic session.
As a part of programme, Assistant Dean Dr. Nagesh Kumar welcomed freshers. On the occasion examination controller and finance officr of the University respectively Dr. Ashish Gupta and Dr. Anand Mishra introduced the students to the academic and administrative aspects of the University.
While welcoming the students, university registrar Dr. Hemendra Kumar Bhagat kept the Vice Chancellor’s address brief. He assured that the university is completely ragging free, and an anti-ragging committee has been established.
He made special comments on the adherence to discipline and attendance of the students. Referring to the university and its permanent campus, he assured that everything will be organized smoothly and there will be an increase in the number of students.
While thanking all the parents, he said that it is a matter of pride that the parents have chosen this university for their children. He talked about connecting with companies for placements and faculty exchange programs and student exchange programs with other educational institutions. He assured moving towards exchange programme.
