DLSA and CID organise awareness cum training programme on cyber helping number – 1930 and process of cyber fraud reporting 

Ranchi: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Sunday organised an awareness cum training programme on cyber helping number – 1930 and process of cyber fraud reporting following instruction from Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA),.

DLSA Secretary Kamlesh Behera, LADC Chief, Praveen Kumar, Deputy Chief Rajesh Kumar Sinha besides Pankaj Kumar, Sandeep Kumar from Cyber ​​Police Station, DLSA employees and all working PLVs were present on the occasion.

Anchoring the programme secretary Behera underlined its importance. “The incidents of cyber fraud are increasing day by day, in view of this, this awareness program-cum-training has been organized,” he said.

LADCS Chief Praveen Kumar said: “Today’s awareness-cum-training programme is organized to avoid cyber fraud. How can one avoid cyber fraud? It is necessary for everyone to know this.”

Taking the programme forward, Sandeep Kumar of Cyber ​​Police Station gave proper information about the types of cybercrime. He gave information about what is cybercrime. He said that cybercrime is done by cyber criminals through computers and big people are cheated. Such incidents are increasing day by day in Jharkhand. Its excess is being seen in Jamtara.

He gave proper training to the people present regarding financial fraud, UPI related fraud, message related fraud, social media related fraud, digital arresting fraud, fake account fraud, screen sharing fraud, WhatsApp, video call fraud, ATM cloning fraud, OLX fraud.

Sandeep Kumar from Cyber ​​Thana gave information on how to avoid cyber fraud. He advised and informed about filing a complaint by contacting Cyber ​​Helping Number 1930.

At the end, DALSA Secretary gave a vote of thanks and instructed all the PLVs present that after getting training, they should go to their block and panchayat and remote villages and give information to the villagers. The DLSA Secretary asked them to distribute pamphlets and leaflets related to cybercrime.
