DAV Hehal inter house debate proves Hindi appropriate for the national language status

Ranchi:  An inter-house debate competition on ‘Hindi is the only suitable language for national language’ was organized in DAV Public School Hehal, Ranchi.

Students of four houses including Swami Dayanand House, Swami Shraddhanand House, Mahatma Hansraj House and Mahatma Anand Swami House of the school participated in the debate.
Class X students Shitanshu of Mahatma Anand Swami House and Daksha Prasad of Mahatma Hansraj House both secured first position securing 47 marks in the competition. Second and third position was secured by same class students Akshara Raj and Shambhavi Sharma. They were from Mahatma Hansraj House and Shraddhanand House respectively. They scored 42 and 36 marks respectively.

Jury members included A K Mishra and Sushil Arya. They expressed their pleasure over the performance of students. “Children performed so well that it became difficult for us to decide who should be given first, second and third place,” Mishra said as Arya supported him.
The children, with many examples and facts, proved that Hindi is the appropriate language for the national language.
Principal SK Mishra said that such competitions increase the self-confidence of children and remove stage fear from them. The audience students also get to know about new statistics and new information, which helps them in their studies.
CCA in-charge teacher Sovan Dev Chakraborty and teacher Mousumi Majumdar played an important role.
