Defectors lost election in Jharkhand

Ranchi: All major defectors of Jharkhand including Jai Prakash Bhai Patel, Sita Soren and Geeta Koda who had defected from their parties after declaration of parliamentary election lost their elections.

Patel had joined Congress leaving BJP and contested from Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency. He was lost by BJP candidate Manish Jaiswal. Soren had joined BJP leaving JMM and had contested from Dumka. She was lost by JMM’s Nalin Soren.

Koda had joined BJP leaving Congress and contested from Singhbhum. She was lost by JMM’s Joba Manjhi.
