Pankhuri gives differently abled children opportunity to show their talent 

Ranchi: Pankhuri, a social organisation working for underprivileged girls of government schools and slum areas, organised a painting competition for handicapped children of Gurunank home for handicapped at Bariatu on Sunday.

 

In this event around 20 differently abled children participated. They painted scenery, flowers, birds, fruits, and the national flag. All children in the age group 9- 12 years were happy to draw.

This programme started with a welcome song by staff members and children of Gurunank home for handicapped. Chief Guest on the occasion was Pankaj Kumar Tripathy of Adani Group. He was happy to see children who are talented in spite of being handicapped.
He praised Pankhuri members for organising such a programme and also promised to help. Entire programme was coordinated by Laxmi, a handicapped of Gurunank home.

 

After the competition prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest. This was followed by distribution of sweets, biscuits, food packets among children and staff members.
This programme was made successful by Panlhuri members Arti Sahuliyar, Hazel Davis, Sushil Kumar Srivastawa, Nehar K. Das, Rajesh Raj Ravi.
