Vidya Vikas Samiti Jharkhand Hosts Grand Provincial Principals’ Conference at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Chatra

CHATRA, JHARKHAND – The spacious auditorium of Indumati Tibrewal Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Dibha, Chatra—a site of deep historical significance—became the focal point of educational reform as it hosted the formal inauguration of a four-day provincial principals’ conference. Organized under the aegis of Vidya Vikas Samiti, Jharkhand, the event brought together academic leaders to chart a transformative course for the upcoming academic year.

Strategic Vision for 2025–26
A total of 230 principals from across various districts of Jharkhand have convened to draft a comprehensive annual action plan for the 2025–26 session. State Secretary Nakul Kumar Sharma noted that the conference serves as a critical workshop for aligning school goals with modern pedagogical standards.

Inaugural Highlights & Tribute

The ceremony began with a solemn tribute to the founders and former Sarsanghchalaks of the RSS, marking the organization’s 100th anniversary. Following the tribute, the conference was officially inaugurated with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by:

The first day featured intensive sessions on the National Education Policy (NEP), the Vidya Bharati scheme, and the integration of digital content-based education. Keynote speaker Deshraj Sharma delivered a profound discourse on the Panchkoshi concept, specifically focusing on Annamaya and Pranamaya koshas, emphasizing the necessity of “cultured education” in the modern era.

Cultural & Academic Releases
The event also celebrated local talent with the release of “Samidha,” a handwritten magazine produced by the students and teachers of the host school. The atmosphere was further enriched by a melodious solo performance by Santosh Kumar Jha, Principal of SVM Baghmara.

The conference, successfully moderated by Palamu Department Inspector Akhilesh Kumar, continues to serve as a platform for the state’s top educators to bridge the gap between traditional values and future-ready schooling.
