Blood Donation Campaign at Central Institute of Psychiatry (C.I.P), Ranchi

Ranchi: Central Institute of Psychiatry in association with Blood Centre RIMS, Ranchi conducted a blood donation drive on the institute premises on 22nd May 2024.

The institute administration under the supervision of the Director, C.I.P. organized a blood donation camp to motivate and encourage people in donating blood, to promote and emphasize the self-esteem of blood donors to fulfill the urgent need of the needy patients.

The drive was inaugurated by Dr. Tarun Kumar (Director, CIP) in presence of Avinash Sharma (Administrative Officer I/C), and Dr. Chandrashekhar Mahato (Senior Medical Officer). The volunteers enthusiastically participated in this event from all age groups, designations and departments.

Blood collection was done by the RIMS Team led by Dr. Chandrabhushan. After the blood donation, refreshments and certificates were provided to the donors.

The purpose of the campaign was to make blood available to those in need and spread awareness about the importance of blood donation. The team collected 36 units of blood and declared the campaign successful. The blood donors were thanked by the team..
