“25-Crore Hospital Ready in Bagodih, Saria — Public Awaits Inauguration with Baited Breath!”

Bagodih (Giridih), 27 December 2025 — The construction of the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Bagodih, Saria, built at an estimated cost of ₹25 crore, has been completed. Yet, the common people are still waiting for its official inauguration. Located in Bagodih under the Saria subdivision, the facility boasts 50 beds, a modern operation theatre, X-ray, ICU, lifts, ramps, and dedicated quarters for doctors.

The hospital is expected to benefit over 6 lakh residents from the surrounding areas. Local resident Rakesh Mahto said, “We witnessed the foundation stone ceremony in 2023, but till now, we still have to travel to Giridih or Ranchi for treatment. The building is ready, but there are no doctors or staff.”

With the completion of this hospital, there is hope for a significant improvement in healthcare services in the region. Locals have urged the authorities to inaugurate the hospital at the earliest and ensure the appointment of doctors and support staff.
