Indumati Tibrewal Saraswati Vidya Mandir High School celebrates 138th birth anniversary of mathematical genius Ramanujan
Students resolved to draw inspiration from the life of great Indian Mathematician
Chatra: The 138th birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyengar was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity in the assembly hall of Indumati Tibrewal Saraswati Vidya Mandir High School, located in Dibha, Chatra.
The programme was presided over by the school principal, Ramesh Kumar Singh.
The programme commenced with the joint garlanding of the portraits of Goddess Saraswati and Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyengar and the lighting of the lamp by Principal Ramesh Kumar Singh, School In-charge Ayodhya Prasad Singh, Senior Teacher Sunil Singh, Teacher Sachin Dubey, and Teacher Govind Kumar.
On this occasion, students presented interesting presentations based on the life journey of Ramanujan and various aspects of mathematics. The students beautifully showcased their creativity and mathematical talent through multiplication tables of 1.25, 1.5, and 2.5, reverse counting, and mathematical poems.
Senior Teacher and Academic In-charge of the school, Sunil Singh, extended his best wishes to all the students on Ramanujan Jayanti and said that Srinivasa Ramanujan was a great mathematician of our country who made unprecedented contributions in the field of analysis and number theory and provided solutions to many complex mathematical problems.
Addressing the gathering, Mathematics Teacher Sachin Dubey said that at the young age of just 33, Shri Ramanujan, with his exceptional and extraordinary knowledge, provided an invaluable legacy to the world of mathematics, which continues to inspire mathematicians worldwide.

School In-charge Ayodhya Prasad Singh, while highlighting the life, mathematical contributions, and achievements of Shri Ramanujan, said that mathematics is not just a subject, but an integral part of our daily lives. His inspiring thoughts awakened interest and curiosity in mathematics among the students.
The programme was successfully conducted by Priyanshi Tiwari and Anamika Kumari of Class IX ‘C’. At the end of the programme, everyone resolved to draw inspiration from the life of Srinivasa Ramanujan.
