Ranchi: The NSUI Jharkhand State Executive Meeting was successfully held in Ranchi today.
State officials and district presidents from various districts of the state participated in this important meeting.
The meeting was chaired by State President Vinay Oraon,while NSUI National General Secretary and Jharkhand in-charge Chunnu Singh was the main speaker. Former Education Minister of the Jharkhand Government, Bandhu Tirkey, and MLA Anoop Singh attended the meeting and shared their views with the student leaders.
State Incharge Chunnu Singh, while addressing the gathering, stated that the main objectives of the meeting were to address scholarships, problems faced by students at the college and university levels, to make the organization more effective and active on the ground, to invigorate the organizational structure, and to have meaningful discussions on programs and strategies for the coming year.

In his address, former Education Minister Bandhu Tirkey discussed in detail the organization’s current status, challenges, and future needs. He stated that strengthening the organization is possible only when every worker connects with students at the grassroots level and prioritizes their problems.
Bermo MLA Anup Singh stated that providing more opportunities to young workers will provide energy and a new vision to the organization.
Anoop Singh clearly stated that the activities of NSUI Jharkhand will be more active, effective, and comprehensive in the coming months.
Highlighting the organization’s importance and the current socio-educational situation, Anoop Singh Ji said that NSUI should work with full force towards both struggle and resolution of student-related issues.
This is the time to move the organization forward with a new resolve, a new direction, and a strong strategy. NSUI’s role should be more decisive on issues such as student rights, quality of education, unemployment, and the future of youth.
NSUI decided that for this purpose, a resolution meeting will be held on January 10, 2026, at the old Assembly complex in the capital, Ranchi.
In this resolution meeting, scholarships, the future direction of the organization,programmes for the year 2026,
protection of student interests,and a strategy to give new impetus to student politics in Jharkhand—
will be discussed in detail.
Other important decisions taken at the meeting
The executive meeting also discussed in detail the NSUI’s active membership drive, the progress of district units, the formation of college units, and student-friendly campaigns to be launched in the coming months. Several important resolutions were also passed unanimously.
All office bearers resolved that in the coming year, NSUI Jharkhand will provide a stronger platform for student voices and expand the organization’s reach to every college and university.
The program concluded with the national anthem and a call for unity. Following the meeting, the workers displayed renewed energy and enthusiasm, indicating that NSUI Jharkhand is fully prepared to play a strong and active role in the coming days.
