Four-day national MMA camp concludes

Ranchi: A four day national MMA camp concluded on October 12 at at The Strength MMA Gym( Jharkhand MMA Association) on the 1st floor of , Dev Bhavan in Nova Nagar, near Major Kothi Chowk on Bajra Itki Road in the heart of the Jharkhand capital.

As many as 50 committed male and female trainees of different age groups participated in the camp to learn different techniques of MMA and striking MMA.

Famous trainer Abdul Muneer had come from Bangalore to impart training to budding martial art talent of the state. Muneer is owner of Bodyforce Fight Club apart from being AIMMAF general secretary, national coach, international official refree and judge and GAMMA international technical officer.

Snigdh Gaurav, who is committed to give top MMA players from the state, said that the training helped participants get basic knowledge of techniques, prowess, strength, basic skill about MMA, control and balance of body and gain the muscles memory, flexibility, agility, strength stamina, endurance and core.

“We are very fortunate to honour a person like Abdul Muneer Sir. He gave his precious time for us and conduct this event successfully. Co-operation of all the athletes of the strength MMA gym and all the athletes from different district of jharkhand who came and attended the camp was really appreciable. Around more than 50 top athletes including 10 girls participated in this camp,” he said.

One of the participants said the traininhg helped him learn several skill. “We were guided and trained in techniques, skill, and given many tips on how to work on strength , endurance, stamina, how to manage distance management,” one of the participants said.

Before the coach left Ranchi he expressed his pleausure to visit Ranchi. “It is a great pleasure for me to visit Ranchi and conduct the seminar. I loved the hospitality which given to me,” he said.

During this camp cum seminar the chief guest who visited included Amrendra Dutt Dwivedi, an international judge and general secretary of Wushu and Jharkhand Sepak Takraw Association, BJP ST Morcha Chairperson Roshni Khalkho, BJP member Mahavir Singh and NIS Coach Ratnesh Kumar.
