‘Birsa Hunkar’ is ready to counter anti-national voices in Jharkhand.

Ranchi: Birsa Hunkar, a monthly magazine in Hindi from Jharkhand’s capital, will soon reach remote villages to counter anti-national thoughts that are being spread across the country to isolate poor people residing in forests and hilly areas from the mainstream of society for their ugly design.

A meeting was held on Saturday to discuss the content and circulation of the magazine with some of the committed journalists and businessmen interested in volunteering their service for the magazine with national thought leaders who have devoted their lives for the sake of national buildings.

A source close to ‘Birsa Hunkar’ informed us that during the meeting each aspect, including content creation, circulation, and legal obligation, besides marketing and finance, was discussed.

“For discussion on content, veteran journalists were present, while for discussion of circulation, legal aspects, and finance, committed chartered accountants of the city were present. A section of committed writers of different subjects was also present to take collective decisions and work in mission mode,” the source said.

“Initially, a decision was taken to print 5000 copies to ensure that not a single copy remained undelivered. Gradually the number will be increased depending on its demand and national requirement,” the source further said.
