Adani Foundation’s Coaching Centre Helps Five Students Crack Agniveer Exam

Barkagaon (Hazaribagh): Adani Foundation’s free coaching centre at Gondulpara mining project has once again scripted a success story. Five students from the centre have cleared the recently held Agniveer recruitment examinations — including the physical, medical, and written rounds — marking yet another milestone for the initiative aimed at empowering underprivileged youth.

A felicitation ceremony was organized on Monday to honor the achievers in the presence of their parents and community members.

“No shortcut to success, only education can shape society”

Speaking on the occasion, Barkagaon DSP Pawan Kumar congratulated the successful candidates and lauded Adani Foundation’s initiative. “These young achievers will bring glory not just to Barkagaon but to the nation. Education is the true path that changes both society’s direction and destiny. There are no shortcuts to success,” he said.

Encouraging students to form study groups and make constructive use of the internet and social media, Kumar urged aspirants who could not clear the exam this time to resume their preparation with renewed determination.

Barkagaon Circle Inspector Lalit Kumar also praised the coaching centre, expressing confidence that the achievement will inspire more students in the region.

Five achievers felicitated
The five successful candidates — Bhanu Singh Rajput, Sunny Kumar Yadav, Rajdeep Kumar, Sushant Kumar Sharma, and Rishabh Kumar — were honored by the DSP and Circle Inspector during the ceremony.

The coaching centre’s trainers — Ritik Jaiswal, Ravindra Kumar Yadav, and Rajendra Kumar Yadav — highlighted that several students are preparing for upcoming competitive exams including CISF, Railways, Excise, and SSC, and expressed confidence in their success. Currently, over 35 students are receiving free coaching at the centre.

Beyond coaching: holistic support for youth

The Adani Foundation-run centre provides not only academic guidance but also nutritional support, stationery, sports kits, and running gear. Many students from the centre have previously cleared the Agniveer recruitment process as well.

Adani Foundation’s efforts, however, extend far beyond education. In Barkagaon, the Foundation has been running healthcare initiatives such as free nutrition kits for TB patients, livelihood programs including skill development and women’s self-employment training, scholarship schemes, health camps, and sports promotion activities.

“This Agniveer success is not just about individual dreams coming true but is also a beacon of hope and inspiration for the youth of the region,” said an Adani Foundation spokesperson.

The event was attended by Gondulpara Project Head Pundarik Mishra, Security Head Amit Kole, CSR Head Mohit Gupta, Tarakeshwar Kumar and Vijay Kumar, alongside local villagers.
