RTI activist requests Mandaviya to refund money desposited in EPFO and ESIC account twice by mistake
Ranchi: RTI activist Sarvesh Kumar requested union labour and employment minister Mansukh Mandaviya to ensure refund of money in case of money going into EPFO and ESIC account by mistake or again.
“There should be a system to return the money of EPFO and ESIC even if it is sent to wrong number twice in the same month by mistake, on request by the company,” Singh’s letter to the minister in Hindi reads.
Singh had earlier requested the minister to make arrangement for reflection of PF late fine next month and his request was accepted. Singh while requesting for return of money deposited in EPFO or ESIC account in one month twice or in other account by mistake has also expressed his gratitude for the same.
“I thank your ministry that accepting my request of reflecting PF late fine in the next month,” his letter reads.
Kumar said the demand was raised as money deposited in EPFO and ESIC by mistake is never returned causing loss to depositers. “This is a sort of punishment for depositer who deposit money in EPFO or ESIC by some mistake. I want this to be stopped,” he said.
