Woman entrepreneur missing for last 19 days; police, family clueless 

Bokaro: Geeta Devi Choudhary (45), a woman entrepreneur who left her house at Shivpuri Colony under Balidih police station at 11.30 am on May 28 on an auto rickshaw for some business work, went missing the same day. 

The day she went missing her husband, Lalan Choudhary, was at Delhi in the course of treatment of her younger son suffering from brain tumour for the last eight years and completely dependent on others.

Family sources informed that she had talked last time with her elder son, Anant Kumar Choudhary, at 2.38 pm on the same day. She during her talk said she was at sector 4 of Bokaro Steel City and did not give any sign of feeling insecure. 

“She had disconnected the call saying she was returning with something to eat for her son. After 5 pm her phone was found switched off when her son called her to know her whereabouts and expected time of return,” a police official said.  

Sanjay Sao, a locality resident and money lender, who had provided an interest free loan of Rs 34000 to Geeta in three installments to assist treatment of her younger son suffering from brain gland,  informed his elder son, Anant Kumar Choudhary, at May 28 night around 9pm that she was with him till 3pm and left his car saying she had some work at Ram Mandir in sector 1 and she will return taking auto rickshaw. 

A missing case was reported in the matter at Balidih police station on May 30 on the statement of his elder son after all attempts of family members to get Geeta’s clue failed. However, police so far failed to get any clue. 

“Geeta’s phone got switched off at 4.08pm on May 28. Her last location was sector IV. Sao’s exact location is yet to be ascertained. As Sao is frequently changing his statement and his statement does not match with his mobile location police is facing difficulty,” a close relative of Geeta said quoting police official said investigating the matter.  Entreprenuer’s complexion is dark and her height is 5 ft 3 inche. She was wearing kurti (brown in check) and black palazzo when she left her house.
