Ranchi: Issue of attack on Holi enjoying group in Giridih was raised in Jharkhand Assembly as BJP legislator created ruckus reaching the well demanding a debate on deteriorating law and order of the state.

Leader of opposition Babulal Marandi raised the issue saying the incident happened in a planned manner. On this, Radha Krishna Kishore said that the ruling party and the opposition are sensitive in such a case.

The Finance Minister said that the day the Home Department’s grant demand will be discussed, this issue will also be discussed. He said that it is not appropriate to do politics over such an incident. After the uproar by BJP, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 12:00 noon.

Earlier, Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar told the House that despite being stopped by the administration, some people decided to forcibly go in front of the mosque. While other people playing Holi went through a different route. The administration has shown restraint.

MLA Pradeep Yadav told the House that counting the flaws is a different matter. But the areas where Hindus and Muslims played Holi together, should also be sent a congratulatory message from this House, who gave the message of brotherhood not only in the state but across the country.
