Attack attempt on Sita Soren, former PA arrested

Ranchi: Dhanbad police arrested former PA of former Jama MLA and BJP leader Sita Soren, Devashish Ghosh, for allegedly attempt to attack Soren.

A police official informed this saying attack attempt was made on Thursday night.

“Sita Soren was staying at a hotel in Saraidhela in Dhanbad. During this time her former PA Devashish Ghosh entered her room with a pistol and pointed on her. Her personal security guards apprehended him on time. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and arrested him. On Friday he was produced before Dhanbad court, from where he was forwarded to judicial custody,” the police official said.
Reason behind the attack attempt is yet to be ascertained.
