Former education minister Tirkey expresses concern over neglect of locals

Ranchi:  A delegation of Congress led by former Education Minister of Jharkhand Government Bandhu Tirkey met Ranchi University Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajit Kumar Sinha, along with Marketing Board Chairman Ravindra Singh, Minority Commission Member Dr. M. Tausif, senior Congress leader Ashok Chaudhary, Shantanu Mishra, Gajendra Singh, Satish Paul Manjani, and NSUI State Vice President Aman Ahmed.

Bandhu Tirkey said that there is complete rigging in the need based appointment process, it should be canceled immediately. The merit list of Hindi that has come just now does not have a single name of Jharkhandi, Adivasi Moolvasi Samaj people. We have a government in the state and we will not let this happen with the tribals and natives of Jharkhand.

Bandhu Tirkey said that need based appointment should be in the interest of Jharkhandi and said that soon the government will pass it from the cabinet and give priority to local candidates, this initiative will be taken by the government.

The Vice Chancellor said that we are getting the work done as per the orders of HRD.

Bandhu Tirkey said that we will talk to the Education Minister today itself and will soon get it cancelled by HRD.
