Chatra: The winners of sports and science exhibition were felicitated at Indumati Tibrewal Saraswati Vidya Mandir.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Vidya Vikas Samiti’s honourable state secretary Ajay Kumar Tiwari, school’s patron Dr. Vijay Agarwal, president Santan Pandey, secretary Sanjay Sinha, co-secretary Kumar Vivek Singh, treasurer Mukesh Sah, committee member Ranjit Agarwal and principal Ramesh Kumar Singh by jointly lighting the lamp.
The programme started with the welcome song by the students, after which a solo song was presented by sister Sakshi Priya Dubey and Acharya Siddheshwar Goswami. The introduction to the subject was done by the school in-charge Ayodhya Prasad Singh.
During this, under the guidance of Acharya Sandeep Kumar, the prize distribution was done and the winning participants along with their parents were honored by giving them mementos, bicycles, sports kits and certificates.
Addressing the programme, State Secretary Ajay Kumar Tiwari said that such an event can prove to be a milestone for the children to promote their talent. The brothers and sisters of the school have made the entire North-East region, Vidya Vikas Samiti and the local school proud by performing excellently in sports and science exhibitions.
Patron Dr. Vijay Agarwal gave ₹500 cash in a sealed envelope to each successful participant in SGFI and while encouraging them said that education should be such that it includes discipline, obedience and humility in the students.
Principal Ramesh Kumar Singh said that the school has got recognition at the national level with the success of the students. “This is a matter of pride for the school. Children should take inspiration from their success. The school family wishes a bright future for its promising players,” he said.
The stage was conducted by Acharya Sachin Dubey. All the Acharya Didi were present in the successful conduct of the programme.
