Ranchi: Money is expected to be transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries of the Maiya Samman Yojana before Christmas.

The second supplementary budget has been approved by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar. On Wednesday itself, the Governor has given his approval to the budget. After which, as soon as the notification was issued by the Law Department, a letter has also been issued by the Finance Department.

Maiya Samman Yojana comes under the Women Child and Social Security Department. Which has sent the file to the departmental minister for approval. This department is with CM Hemant Soren. At the same time, as soon as the CM’s approval is received, money will come to the accounts of 55 lakh beneficiaries of Maiya Yojana. The Women Child and Social Department has demanded a date from the CM to transfer the money.

However, there is news from inside that money will be transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries before Christmas. Let us tell you that after the formation of Hemant Soren’s government, a special session of the Assembly was called. In that session, Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore presented a supplementary budget of Rs 11,697 crore 45 lakh. Out of which the maximum amount was allocated to the Women and Child Development and Social Security Department. Which is Rs 6,390 crore 55 lakh.
