Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidya team lands in Jharkhand to empower differently abled people

Ranchi: Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidya team in its mission to empower diffenrelty abled Indian Citizen has reached Jharkhand.

Led by an electrical engineer Suryamani Dash and an experienced fighter pilot trainer Surya Prakash Rao the team started imparting training to differently abled children and their trainer at Vishwavidya’s Jharkhand centre at Choudhary Bagan in Ranchi amid presence of state disability commissioner A.N.Ambastha.

The team is expected to visit Dipshikha, Khstijik Mook Badhir Vidyalaya, Rajkiya Netraheen Vidyalaya, Koshish and Rajkiya Mook Badhir Vidyalaya located in different parts of the state capital to empower the differently abled children.

The team is euipped with 3D Exhibition Models, Braille Books and Value Based Games for visually Impaired and Rajyoga Meditation Courses, Personality Development Book, Value Based Motivational Stories and Inspirational Songs in sign language besides Value Based Games for hearing impaired. For Intellectually Challenged, the team has Drawing Book for Skill Improvement and Games to improve intellectual level besides others. Apart from this, the team has posters carrying pictures and achievement of differently abled people across the world including India.

It has a special vehicle sponsored by a nationalised bank to travel and the team has reached Ranchi from Mount Abu in Rajasthan using the same vehicle.

“Jharkhand government has given opportunity to work in the state. It will be 12th state where we have got opportunity to work. We are not paid by government for the work and entire arrangement is done by brothers and sisters associated with the organisation,” Dash said talking to a section of media during a press confernece organised on the day the team arrived Ranchi.

During his address to differently abled children and their trainers, Dash said: “If given opportunity differently abled people can do miracles. Power does not lie in organs. We should not assess anyone by their physical form. The need equal treatment, protection and empowerment like everyone. What is considered disbality is actually their strenght,” he said presenting examples of differently abled people who are known worldwife for their have exemplary works.

Rao echoed Dash. “Louis Braille who developed Braile languaged at the age of 15 despite being visually imparied. Thosma Elva Edision had over 1000 patents in his name despite behing hearing impaired. Tim Harris is a differently abled but his restaurant is so famous that even people wait for a year to have dinner there and US president like Barrack Obama feel proud of having visited there,” Rao said.
