DLSA gives warmth to poor in shivering cold

 

Ranchi: On the directions of Justice-cum-Executive Chairman, JHALSA, Sujit Narayan Prasad, under the aegis of JHALSA, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ranchi distributed blankets and food items among the poor people shivering in the cold in view of the increasing cold today at Ranchi Railway Station.

On this occasion, Member Secretary, JHALSA, Kumari Ranjana Asthana, Deputy Secretary, JHALSA, Abhishek Kumar, DLSA Secretary Kamlesh Behera, Railway Judicial Magistrate, Bijay Kumar Yadav and others were present.

It is known that blankets and food items were distributed among the poor and passersby living at the railway station, Ranchi.

Member Secretary Jhalsa, Kumari Ranjana Asthana said on the spot that in view of the increasing cold, blankets have been distributed in the past and will be distributed in the future also on the instructions of the Hon’ble Judge-cum-Executive Chairman, JHALSA, among the poor, helpless and needy. Food items will also be made available among the poor from time to time.

Deputy Secretary, JHALSA, Abhishek Kumar on the occasaion talked about preparedness to help others. “We are always ready to help you and will remain so in the future also. Relief material will be distributed among you from time to time,” he said.

DLSA Secretary Mr. Kamlesh Behera said that in view of the increasing cold, blankets will be distributed among the poor people by the District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi in the future also and such people will be requested to spend their night in the shelter home. Dalsa Secretary also said that those who do not have their own shelter will be identified and arrangements will be made for them to stay in shelter homes and night shelters.

Railway Judicial Magistrate Shri Vijay Kumar Yadav played an important role in making this program successful.
