SXC Principal Dr Nobor Lakra lauches Pankhuri’s newsletter

Ranchi: At the Father Prust Seminar Hall of St. Xaviers College Ranchi on Tuesday, the fifth edition of the newsletter Outreach was launched in honor of the social group Pankhuri’s eighth foundation day. Father Dr. Nabor Lakra, who launched the newsletter to thunderous ovation, was the event’s chief guest.
The academicians and Pankhuri members hosting this inaugural event took great pride in documenting the newsletter’s activities, which includes the organization’s operations.

Chief Guest Father Lakra shed light on the organization’s activities and said that this kind of social work for the oppressed is admirable since it gives youngsters from lower socioeconomic classes a voice.
“When compared to children from wealthy or well-off families, children from impoverished families possess the same potential. Few people volunteer for this kind of job, as the Pankhuri weekly highlights. Since this organization’s visibility is crucial, we will keep on supporting it. We all have Mother Teresa as an example,” he said.

Another guest of honour Prof B.K Sinha, head of college’s Political Science department too stressed and appreciated newsletter of Pankhuri as he expressed his happiness.

“We are looking forward to sign MoU with this organisation for all work and academic related assistance. Such organisation are very few which has come up with long vision,”he said.

Dr Sanjay Kumar Sinha, DSW and HOD History department of St Xaviers College said that this social ourfit through its newsletter has highlighted adoption scheme Palaanhar which is praiseworthy.
“We are happy to know that Pankhuri has adopted orphan child, slum areas and govt middle school. Our Phd students will act as volunteers,” he said.
