PM Modi flags off six Vande Bharat train virtually from Ranchi, CM Soren did not attend the function
Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday virtually flagged off six ‘Vande Bharat trains’ from Ranchi airport. It will run between Berhampur-Tata, Rourkela-Howrah, Deoghar-Banaras, Howrah-Gaya and Howrah-Bhagalpur.
Ranchi was chosen to flagg off the trains as PM’s chopper was not allowed to take off for Jamshedpur from Birsa Munda Airport due to heavy rainfall. Modi’s Jamshedpur road show was cancelled.
CM Hemant Soren, who was invited by railway official , did not attend the Vande Bharat train inauguration programme. Apart from this, he also preferred not meeting PM at Jamshedpur where latter reached by road to attend a party programme.
Addressing party programme in Jamshedpur, Modi said: “……..Relationship of BJP with Jharkhand is not limited election but the relationship is connected with heart….Dream of Jharkhand is BJP’s own dream….”
