Government in Bihar wants land to go to descendants: Sanjay Jha

Ranchi: Jharkhand Maithili Manch (JMM) on Monday felicitated Janata Dal United’s (JDU) national working president and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Jha at Vidyapati Dalan in Harmu.

Along with him, Rajya Sabha MP and state JDU president Khiru Mahto, JDU MLA Manoj Yadav were also felicitated. Maithili Manch’s senior member Jayant Jha felicitated all the guests including MP Sanjay Jha by giving them Mithila ‘paag ‘and ‘dopata’.

Jayant Jha on the occasion informed the MP about Maithili Manch’s programmes and raised demande for Ranchi-Darbhanga flight and train service.

Outgoing councilor of Ranchi Municipal Corporation Ward 26 Arun Jha discussed the problems being faced by the people of Mithila due to the land survey work by the Bihar government. Especially those who are residing in other states and abroad from Bihar. He said that after Lalit Babu, Sanjay Jha’s name will be known as Vikas Purush in Bihar. Many development works have been done during his tenure as minister. Apart from this, the forum put forward many other demands before the MP.

After listening to everyone, the chief guest MP Sanjay Jha said that for the first time in the budget of the central government, floods in Bihar have been discussed. The central government has helped in this. Before this, no government paid attention to the floods in Bihar nor discussed the budget. Because of CM Nitish Kumar, for the first time the central government has given funds in the central budget for floods.

MP Sanjay Jha had reached Vidyapati Daalan in Harmu during his Ranchi tour on Monday. Jharkhand Maithili Forum felicitated him.

He said that Bihar is developing rapidly during the reign of CM Nitish Kumar. A dam has been built on the Kamla river with a cost of one thousand crore rupees. Barrages are to be constructed from Koshi to Gandak in Bihar. After the construction of all five barrages, the flood problem in Bihar will be solved. Along with this, an irrigation facility will be available.

The MP said that he comes from the Jhanjharpur area. The Western Koshi canal will be repaired at many places. This will provide irrigation facilities in that area.

He said that we are discussing all this because all this work was not impossible. But no attempt was ever made before this. Today an airport has been built in Darbhanga, this is the contribution of CM Nitish Kumar. If Nitish Kumar wanted, an airport could have been built in Nalanda as well. But he decided to get it built in Darbhanga and Purnia.

“Today people are flying to Delhi from Darbhanga airport. The people of Mithila could never have imagined this. But today it has become possible. The second AIIMS in Bihar was built in Darbhanga. Flood solutions and irrigation facilities are the major problems in Mithila. That too is being resolved. CM Nitish Kumar’s effort is to do the maximum good that can be done from the central government. This responsibility has been given to me,” he said.

The MP said that now electricity is available 24 hours a day in Bihar.  There is some truth which cannot be denied. Bihar is rapidly progressing towards development during the reign of CM Nitish Kumar. This is the story of fifteen years. There is still a lot to happen in Bihar and it is happening rapidly.

He said that Haridwar will fail in front of the ghat that has been constructed in Simaria. I have given thirty lakh rupees in a personal fund. The ghat of Simaria is amazing.

He said that Darbhanga airport will be named after Baba Vidyapati. For this, the Bihar government will pass a proposal in the assembly and send it to the central government. All this is the contribution of CM Nitish Kumar.

He also said that train facility will also be made available from Ranchi to Darbhanga. For this, the Railway Minister will be talked to.

The MP said that the work of land survey is going on in Bihar. Eighty percent of the fights in Bihar are related to law and order and land. There is a fight between brothers. To solve this problem, land survey work is necessary. In the beginning, many people are facing problems. But this is very important for the future.

Earlier, survey work was done in 72. He said that the intention of the government is clear that the land should go to the descendants of the person in whose name it is. For this, it is necessary to get the genealogy corrected. At the end, he said that the NDA government is already running in Bihar, and you all will have a big role in forming the NDA government in Jharkhand too.
