Police arrest convict Shahid Ansari from Delhi
Ansari had killed a Havildar and escaped from hospital's prisoner ward
Ranchi: Police has arrested convict Shahid Ansari who had absconded after killing Havildar Chauhan Hembram. Shahid was arrested from Delhi on Wednesday morning. The convict had absconded after committing the murder. After which Hazaribagh SP Arvind Kumar Singh had formed SIT and technical team. With the help of which Jharkhand Police has arrested convict Shahid Ansari. After a lot of hard work, Shahid Ansari was caught by the police. Now preparations are being made to bring him from Delhi to Jharkhand.
What is the whole matter
Prisoner Shahid Ansari, who is serving life sentence, was being treated at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital. During this, Shahid Ansari killed Havildar Chauhan Hembram, posted in security, with an iron rod on Monday (12 August 2024). And escaped from there. After which, seeing the seriousness of the incident, Hazaribagh SP, SDO, DSP and top police officials reached the spot. During this time, SIT and forensic team were formed to catch the escaped prisoner. Along with this, a search operation was also conducted in the entire area. After which today the convicted prisoner Shahid Ansari has been arrested by the Jharkhand SIT team.
