Bishop Westcott Girls’ School hosts “West-Fiesta 2024”

Ranchi: In a grand celebration marking 100 years of excellence in education, Bishop Westcott Girls’ School, Namkom, one of the most esteemed institutions of Ranchi city, hosted a vibrant and dynamic Inter-School Fest, “West-Fiesta 2024” on the 16th and 17th August, 2024. The event brought together students from 12 schools both I.C.S.E. & C.B.S.E across the city with over 400 participants, showcasing a rich array of talents, creativity, and camaraderie.

On 16th August,2024, for the Opening Ceremony, the Chief Guest was Mrs. Alka Tiwari, President HR. Consulting Firm- Talent Rewired, Mumbai. The Guest of Honor was Rev. David, Secretary, Bishop Westcott Girls’ School, Namkom who lauded the school for its century-long contribution to education and its role in shaping the leaders of tomorrow. Members of the Managing Committee and Standing Council along with the Principals and former Principals of Bishop Westcott Group of  Schools graced the occasion with their presence.

On 17th August, 2024, for the Closing Ceremony, the Chief Guest  was Mr. C. A. Francis, Regional Secretary, ASISC Bihar/ Jharkhand Region & Principal of St. Anthony’s School, Doranda. The Guest of Honour was Mr. J.J. Edwin, Principal Sports Coordinator, Bihar/ Jharkhand Region & Principal of Bishop Westcott Boys’ School, Namkom.  Among the other dignitaries Present were Principals and former Principals of Bishop Westcott Group of Schools.

A number of esteemed Personalities as the Judges for the various Events and Teachers of the participating Schools were present on both the days.
