Bangladesh faces political crisis

New DelhI: There is information of a coup in Bangladesh.

A highly place source in New Delhi informed this saying Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina has resigned and now Bangladesh Army Chief has appealed to the people to maintain peace in a press conference.
“The Army Chief said that they will fulfill demand of protesters who have barged into the official residence of PM Hasina,” the source said.

“Hasina has left Dhaka. She has gone to a safe place with her sister. Now it is believed that the army can take command of the country in its hands. Amidst all this, the news is that Sheikh Hasina wanted to record her speech before leaving Dhaka. But she was not allowed to do so. The phase of violence that has started in Bangladesh for the last several days regarding reservation is not stopping. The government took strict action to crush the protest. But people’s resentment against Sheikh Hasina kept increasing across the country. In the recent elections held in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina was also accused of winning by rigging on a large scale,” the source said.

Elections were held in Bangladesh in January. Opposition parties had refused to contest the elections. Sheikh Hasina’s party won the election with a huge majority. But after this, rebellion started among the people. After which the government took strict action to crush the rebellion. Even after all this, the rebellion kept increasing. Gradually the protests took a violent turn and within seven months Sheikh Hasina had to leave the Prime Minister’s residence. No one has any information about where she has gone.
