Former BJP legislator Kunal Sadangi resigns

Ranchi: Former Baharagora legislator Kunal Shadangi on Sunday tendered his resignation from BJP. He has sent his resignation to state president Babulal Marandi.

He has written that through the letter in Hindi that he has taken his decision after deep thinking and introspection.
“I am resigning from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. I have taken this decision after deep thinking and introspection,” the letter reads.

Kunal Shadangi has also sent a copy of the resignation to National President JP Nadda, National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh and State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh.

Kunal has written in his resignation that for the last several months he has been feeling that despite bringing the issues related to the basic problems of East Singhbhum district and organizational issues to the notice of you and other senior officials many times, the party is completely indifferent towards the important issues of the district.
“When I resigned from the post of state spokesperson, I was hopeful that the party would take cognizance of the issues raised by me but the situation remained the same even today,” the resignation letter reads.

He has that the elected public representatives from here have always been silent on many basic facilities of the district and especially on the issues of the youth and no seriousness is seen towards the internal discipline of the organization.

“In these circumstances, it is unfortunate that no concrete steps have been taken by the state leadership and I do not agree with such a functioning and am unable to do justice to my main objective of joining politics,” he stated.
“In the interest of the people of East Singhbhum district, it is necessary that their voice should be raised strongly, so that their problems can be resolved properly, which does not seem possible to me by staying in BJP in the current situation,” the resignation letter further reads.
