Soldier’s son turns star, gets pivotal role in famous TV show ‘Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma’
Ranchi: Youth having connection with Jharkhand capital, Mukesh Chandel, got an opportunity to work for the famous TV show, Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma.
Chandel informed this saying he will be playing a pivotal role in the show.
“I will be playing a pivotal role as Swajat Kumar in the show. Casting director Vikas Verma has given me an opportunity to work,” he said, sharing his success story.
Chandel originally hails from Vaishali district of Bihar. He spent most of his childhood in Rae Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, where his father, an ex-army man, was posted.
After graduating in commerce, he pursued a master’s degree in economics from Kanpur University. He was studious and wanted to pursue a career in teaching. Following this, he later shifted with his family to work and live in HEC Dhurwa of Ranchi, Jharkhand.
While his heart lied in acting and he was actively associated in theatres. He soon gave up his job and decided to move to Mumbai on 22 January 2017.
He embarked on his journey as an actor and appeared in several television shows, Commercial ads, short movies and Web series.
The few of most acclaimed are Ad films of Goibibo with Kareena Kapoor and Apollo Pipes with Amitabh Bachan, Everest Chole Masala, Country Delight, Ruskit Etc. Movie Series Mamla Legal hai, Bulbul, and Sacred Games in Netflix, Sunflower Season 2 in Zee and most viewed TV Shows Nimki Mukhiya, Madam Sir, Sajan re Phir Jhoot Mat bolo, Ladies Special, Katelaal and Sons Etc.
Chandel is recently roped in for the famous TV show, Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma, one of the most successful and longest running shows of Sab TV. He will be soon seen as Sajawat Kumar in Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma.
