Jharkhand’s Shruti Visual Information Pvt Limited starts live streaming of Uttarakhand High Court proceedings

Ranchi: Adding an extra feather in its cap, Jharkhand’s company, Shruti Visual Information Private Limited, successfully started live streaming of the hearings from two court rooms of Uttarakhand High Court.

As per the guidelines of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, now anyone can watch the court proceedings from any corner of the world and the Jharkhand’s company has got opportunity to play its role for the same.

The company has made such arrangements that the judges can control those cases which cannot be heard in open court from the bench of the court room as per their wishes. This is a unique initiative in itself.

Although the formal inauguration and publicity of this system is yet to be done, it has started working. This is a unique initiative to bring transparency in the process of judicial work, which has been done by many High Courts of the country but is yet to be done in many High Courts. Jharkhand is also one of them.

Company director Arun Prakash said that after Uttarakhand, efforts are being made to do this work in other high courts as well so that people get information about the judicial process and their awareness increases.
He said that the company is established in Jharkhand since 2000 and has worked and is working for the central and state governments as well as private institutions.

As per the guidelines of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the live streaming of court proceedings is being controlled through cloud server by Shruti Visual Information Private Limited, an institution selected by the Uttarakhand High Court. The ‘touch panel’ is a device from which the cameras installed in the court room and any device engaged in streaming work can be commanded.
