Ranchi: Er. Amit Raj Topno has been admitted to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA for study leading to the Doctoral Degree in Biological Engineering (Ph.D.) with a specialization in Water Resources Planning and Management. He has been offered Graduate Research Assistantship in Biological Systems Engineering with annual stipend of $28,000 beginning June 2024.
He was working as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) since January 2023 in the All India Coordinated Research Project on Plastic Engineering in Agriculture Structure and Environment Management (PEASEM), Department of Agricultural Engineering, BAU, Ranchi under project investigator (PI) Dr Pramod Rai. He did his M. Tech. in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering from Department of Agricultural Engineering of BAU in 2022 under the guidance of Dr Mintu Job.
